PEOPLE. POWER. CULTURE. TRUTH.
COLOR Victory Fund is an independent expenditure committee participating in Colorado's political process through independent communications.
COLOR Victory Fund is grounded in reproductive justice and creating opportunities for communities that have historically been underrepresented in political decision-making, with a focus on improving outcomes for Latine communities in Colorado.
We refuse to accept a future in which only the wealthiest interests can shape political outcomes, so we organize, endorse, educate, and invest in community power.
Colorado campaign finance records are publicly available through TRACER, and transparency is a core part of democratic accountability. We believe voters deserve access to information about who is participating in our political system, including us.
Colorado elections involve candidates, political parties, PACs, independent expenditure committees (IEs), labor organizations, businesses, advocacy groups, and community organizations. They all operate under different rules.
The legal structure tells us how money moves. It doesn't tell us who holds power.
That's why we believe it's important to ask deeper questions.
Who is funding political activity?
How concentrated is that funding?
Is it transparent?
Who benefits?
Who is accountable to the community?
political POWER and status quo structures
Being curious and asking questions matters because not all political spending represents the same kind of power.
People-powered money comes from communities pooling resources, membership organizations, small-dollar donors, and collective action.
Wealth-powered money comes from concentrated financial influence, where a small number of donors can have an outsized impact on political outcomes.
The legal structures may sometimes look similar.
The power dynamics are not.
